Lock aspect ratio for what?
The Crop Tool?
It is set BY original Image ratio, IIRC.

I suspected the original poster might be talking about »Maintain aspect ratio« as it applies to Edit > Free Transform.
Maybe they can post to clarify.

Thank you guys and I'm sorry my explanation was a little brief let me explain further.
Actually I don't even know how to explain but... How to lock the box as default setting?
Please see attached picture.

Is that the options bar for expanding the canvas? Your discription should also contain the actual Tool you are using.
IIRC (as I don't use PS all that much) the icon you have circled is to lock the right value to the left value. Change one, Auto change the other. Is that correct?
Not sure you can.

When I open PS, the aspect ratio box doesn’t lock, when I use 'transform tool' I want to keep the aspect ratio of object most of the time and I have to lock the box every transform action. But if I can lock the box by default setting, I don’t have to lock the box every time and I can save time that’s what I need your help. Is that make sense?

There is no »transform tool« in Photoshop – the word »Tools« has a specific meaning in the context of Photoshop.
And again: If you want the new features you have to upgrade.

I was keep researching and just figured out there are some script that I can control aspect ratio setting without upgrade.
Thank you again for the reply.

If I remember correctly the initial »improvement« happened with CC 2019 and missed what a long-standing Feature Request achtually aimed at.
The further changes introduced with CC 2020 should make more sense to most users.
Also Photoshop > Preferences > General > Use Legacy Transform should allow you to go back to the old way if you want/need to.
But just to make sure you can go back to CC 2018 if necessary you may want to make sure that the upgrade does not remove that installation,

Thank you for the information.
The reason why I'm still using PS CC 2018 is my Mac OS is quite old
and currently can not upgrade PS, I'll update Mac OS soon
but right now using PS CC 2018 is my only option.

Be wary of Mac OS Catalina – I cannot tell whose fault it is but there are problems with Photoshop and that OS.
