PNG trouble in photoshop

New Here ,
Apr 06, 2021 Apr 06, 2021

I'm trying to save my photoshop image as a png, but when I send it in email the quality reduces significantly and it isn't transparent like it should be. In my microsoft mail I can't even open the file, and the file name is changed. I've reset my photoshop settings to default and I've managed to fix the quality issue and it's now transparent, but it still won't open in mail like it usually would when I send an image. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what happened so if it happens again I can fix it properly. (I'm using adobe photoshop 2021 if thats helpful at all)

Go to File > Export > Export As > PNG with Transparency.   Reduce image size to reduce bandwidth (file size).

File > Export > Export AsFile > Export > Export Asexpand image

Some e-mail systems like Gmail step on images to further reduce file size which can effect quality.  For best results, upload to a server or cloud storage like DropBox or Creative Cloud storage and send your recipients a direct link to the file.
