After update today i can't delete when i use Polygon lasso, it's nothing wrong with my delete button at all, it's just when i start with polygon lasso and have to delete last click when i have to undo last action it doesn't work. I can use my delete all over photoshop, but just when i use polygon lasso nothing happens.

Windows 7. Adobe Photoshop V14.2 64bit
Identical problem (Backspace, Escape keys)..
I would say far more than an annoyance. Productivity killer.
But the worst thing is the dead silence.

I'm glad I was late updating mine..I just found this glitch too and ended up pressing my backspace button really hard a few times because I thought it was stuck lol..this is a pretty annoying glitch..I was in settings trying to figure out what I had done to have this issue happen and all the while it wasn't even my fault. I'll be looking for the update every few hours I guess. Is there anyway of reverting back to a previous version we once had?
I think for situations like these they should have the option available to work with a previous version. Whatever the update was coming up to this isn't worth the loss of the backspace button with lasso.

That would be a truly great new feature, Adobe Rollback, exchange this versions *new* bugs for last versions features.
Adobe I know 'real' designers do it Mac(Book) style, but just hurry up with this bug-fix, Windows people want to be productive too!

I like the name "Adobe Rollback" I think for this collaboration between us Adobe should give us 1 free year CC. Sounds like a great way to say thank you

I'm just hoping if we keep replying, it will get somebody's attention.
Do they even know it's broken?

ADOBE. FIX. LASSO.

Hi, as an addition to losing the possibility to delete the last point, I also lost the ability to zoom in and out using ctrl+/ ctrl- while using the lasso tool. Anybody experienced this? Can it also be fix in the coming update, any progress?

Adobe needs to be more responsive to its users or it will be the next Quark Xpress

To be fair, they did address this issue on a FB post I made. They claim its coming in the (or a) next update. I wouldnt hold your breath.
What they need to do is allow ROLLBACKS of UPDATES incase this happens.
Boo on CC so far. Boo and hiss.

I'm having the same issue, and finding it hard to complete work without this essential functionality, when is this issue going to be addressed?Using Photoshop CC 14.2 x64 on windows 7 ultimate.

Hello, while I understand your frustration, Adobe's policy is to not comment or commit on dates.
I think that they want to test the fix before releasing it, and that they do it as fast as they can. Giving a date won't change anything.
I think that requesting on http://feedback.photoshop.com a rollback procedure might be worth posting.
Right now, the only solution is to uninstall Ps from the uninstaller on your operating system, then re-download it from Creative Cloud, and not accept the updates.
ProDesign tool has posted some updates; so that you can install the latest working one, but be aware that it is not standard procedure, and might be unsupported.

I've written to them again:
Hi, I've written to you earlier this year about an issue with the lasso tool - polygone or magnetic - the "backspace" or "delete" key does not erase or backtrack segments as they are supposed to. I'm still having the same issue and finding it hard to complete work without this essential functionality, when is this issue going to be addressed? I'm a professional photographer working with Adobe Photoshop professionally, and it's getting kind of unsatisfying that this issue seem to be taken very lightly... Is professionals on PC not being taken seriously by Adobe or what seems to be the problem regarding a solution to this issue?

Just DLed CC and immediately found this bug. The program really isn't usable to me like this as I use the lasso all the time. Guess I'll also figure out how to put in a ticket.

It's been reported several times. We know about this bug, and are testing a fix for it.
