Polygonal lasso selection tool in Adobe Camera Raw

Hello all - am I missing something?  I have been needing a polygonal lasso selection tool in Adobe Camera Raw for quite some time now.  Before opening in Photoshop, I frequently need to carefully select and adjust sections of the image like a window, or a LED screen, where I would normally use a polygonal lasso tool in Photoshop...but this doesn't seem to exist in the raw controls.....only circular selection tools and gradation selection tools.  Please show me I am wrong, and the tools is there somewhere!

It would be great to have that feature, but Daniel is correct that that does not exist in Camera Raw. Camera Raw was designed to fix images overall, not so much for specific areas.

It does not exist in Adobe Camera Raw. Your best bet would be to either figure out what works for you with the round brush or the better but slightly more involved way...

  1. -Do our main process in Camera raw and open into Photoshop as a Smart Object.
  2. -Right click on your smart object and click New Smart Object Via Copy.
  3. -Click on the smart object icon on the new layer and go back in to Camera Raw and adjust for the window or screen or whatever.
  4. -Mask the two layers together in Photoshop.

Not much else you can do really.
