Hi everyone.

my cache (section) is missing from the dropdown setting in preferences.  Has anyone other than me had this happen, and how can i fix it?  I'll take ANY help here.  thank you in advance.

There is no "cache" section in PS preferences. There is "Performance" and "Scratch Disks".

Sure you're not thinking of some other application?

Older versions of photoshop used to have Memory & Cache listed under Preferences.

Or just Image Cache like in photoshop 4.

In modern versions of photoshop those settings are under Edit>Preferences>Performance.

Photoshop>Preferences (Settings)>Performance on the Mac side.

Photoshop CS2 on the mac side
