Presets keep disappearing from Photoshop CC 2017 - Windows 10.

I think this may be the reason, but the dropdown doesn't let me change to pat.  How can I change this folder?  It stays on brushes, but won't change when I add patterns or styles.  Thanks

in the file name field type   *.*  (star dot star) then enter , it will show all files in the Folder

You in the wrong Folder go up a directory the then down to the Brush...
