Pressure Sensitivity not working in Photoshop 2023 (Xencelabs graphic drawing tablet)

I've notice that pressure sensitivity hasn't been working lately in Ps 2023. I've tried the PSUserConfig.txt and I checked to make sure that shape dynamics was enabled and the control was set to pen pressure. The PSUserConfig.txt only works for a few minutes before my brush cursor turns into an eraser and gets stuck. I've also checked my tablet driver settings (I have an Xencelabs tablet) and even reinstalled it but it doesn't seem to be the cause of the problem. I followed the instructions for Ps pressure sensitiviy on the Xencelabs support site, but still nothing.

I am having issues with my Xencelabs Tablet but with InDesign & Illustrator which is very unnerving. InDesign freezes up and I get the rainbow ball of death constantly. This has happened before with InDesign but not usually with Illustrator. When Illustrator freezes and becomes very sluggish without responding to any pen commands, something is really wrong. When I disconnect the Xencelabs tablet and turn on my Logitech Bluetooth mouse, InDesign and Illustrator work fine. I need a tablet to work without getting a strain in my wrist so this is very disappointing. I get the usual ‘update drivers’ fix from Xencelabs but that doesn’t seem to solve much. I wonder if there is an Adobe/Xencelabs issue going on???
