I am not sure how to convey the utter contempt I have for Adobe, specifically what you have done to photoshop.

Every update presents an ever more convoluted, confusing mess of arbitrary changes - If you haven't just added bugs, you have changes the core functionality and flow of the toolset.

What was once a joy of instinctual muscle memory, now is a procedure of web searching, forum sifting, and Youtube viewing.

Yes, you can roll back - but only to weeks/months. Can you please offer software older than a month, please?

Or actually involve the community before you back slap each other in celebration of your new retrograde interpretation of a once functioning toolset.

When you post here you are not addressing Adobe. This is a user forum site you are addressing Photoshop users like yourself.  We have nothing to do with Adobe Program development or any say is what  Adobe releases or changes the make  of fix Adobe code. All we can do is help each other out with using Photoshop and use Adobe feedback site to report Bugs and make suggestions to Adobe.

If you had search this forum instead of trying to rant on Adobe you would have found download links for old Photoshop CC versions  from CS6 to cc 2019.   Photoshop 2020 and 2021 are installable through the Creative Cloud Desktop Application.

We invariably find if users have a problem on investigation it's a system issue.

If you can indicate which version of Photoshop and OS and how much RAM and spare disk capacity you have it will help. Also indicate the specific issue you're having.

By the way, have you tried resetting the Photoshop preferences?
