Print Dialog won't open in Photoshop 2021 (windows 10)

I would appreciate some help with a frustrating problem... I can't print from Photoshop 2021 using the print... command in the menu bar (or Ctrl-P). Each time i try i get the error message "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents."
This problem is only in PS, all my other apps in my creative suite works correctly.

If I use the "Print one copy" option, the print operation is completed but i have no control over the print format.

I have tried all the suggestions presented here and in support help with no avail. I have even uninstalled the complete creative suite and reinstalled it only to encounter the same issue. I've done the same with my printers.

Thanks Jane, I tried all that but without success. The issue resolved itself with the latest updates that I got yesterday. I still don’t know what caused the issue in the first place but I’m grateful that it’s fixed 😊

Hi @tmlorenz

Can you try this to reset the Print dialog:

  • Open your image.

  • Hold down the Spacebar and select File > Print.

Other steps to try are here:
