print scaling problem

Explorer ,
Feb 04, 2022 Feb 04, 2022

I am printing a PS 19.1.9 image on an Epson 15000XP from a Mac running 10.13.6. Some images, not all, print out about 3% smaller than the file dimensons in Photoshop. All print settings are at 100%. I have talked to Epson and we didn't find a problem with the printer or driver. Here is my procedure for generating files I print. I have a 30"x11" layout in Photoshop. I select areas of it, copy paste to creat a new layer. I duplicate the layer as "new"  which gives me a new 30x11 document with just my selection in it. I crop that to the image size. I print this new cropped layer. Thanks you for any help.

Hi there,

Could you try updating Photoshop to the latest version?

You may also try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if that helps.

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preset-migration.html

Regards,
Sahil

Sahil, I can see updating Photoshop to the latest version is not an option for the original poster. Photoshop 2021 needs macOS 10.15 or later, and the original poster is running macOS 10.13.
