I can't find the "Advanced B&W" printer dialog box in Photoshop 2024 print module, what do I have to do for advanced black and white printing now?

Are you on macOS or Windows? On macOS (not sure if the following works the same in Windows), Advanced B&W may be unavailable unless you first make sure the following options are set correctly:

Print dialog box, Color Handling must be set to Printer Manages Colors, because Advanced B&W Photo is only made available by the Epson printer driver software, it is not a feature in Photoshop. Therefore the Epson printer driver, not Photoshop, must be given control over print color handling.

Print Settings button, Printer Options, Color Controls, Color Matching must be set to EPSON Color Controls (not ColorSync), again because Advanced B&W Photo is an Epson-specific color feature, not something Apple ColorSync can provide.

If those options are set correctly, then in Print Settings button, Printer Options, Printer Settings, Advanced B&W Photo will be available. On my Mac in the latest version of Photoshop, it is still there, as shown in the picture below.

If Advanced B&W Photo is still completely missing even if you look for those options, the way to a solution is to troubleshoot what is going on with the Epson printer driver. Again, that’s because the Advanced B&W option is not provided by Photoshop, it is put there by the Epson printer driver software.

On a Mac, if the AirPrint (basic consumer) version of an Epson printer driver is installed, many professional features such as Advanced B&W may be missing. Make sure you downloaded and installed the latest version of the Epson driver software that’s compatible with your specific printer and operating system version.

@Conrad_C I tried your settings on my Mac (Ventura) Epson SC-P4900,  Photoshop 25.5.1 - strangely Advanced B&W didn't show up

I started over, started by setting to Photoshop Manages Color, opened Print Settings, closed it -

then, back to Photoshop, set to Printer Manages Color - observed your other advice about the options in Color matching = Colorsync v Epson color controls. useful to know, mine reverts to Colorsync.

NowAdvanced B&W shows up, I've posted this wondering if it may help the original poster (after they have checked they don't have the Airprint driver) - maybe it just gets "stuck"

It looks a little different to your dialog (my older printer = older driver I guess)

In my case, Advanced B&W appears under the section "Color" rather than your "Print Mode"

Just reporting back on my testing, in case it helps

You'll find "Advanced B&W" in the Epson printer driver, which will open when you click Print Settings at the top of the PS Print dialog. (under Printer setup)

Thank you, but no, the dialog doesn’t exist anymore, you can only switch between color and black and white

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
