Proble with adding text in Photoshop

I'm having a problem with text in Photoshop. Every time I put a full stop at the end of a sentence the full stop jumps to the stert of the sentence along with the cursor. (see screenshot)

Any ideas?

Hi

Check the Paragraph tab, you may have it set to World-Ready Layout, change it the Latin and East Asian Layout
