Hello everyone,

I use photoshop and I use the plug-in 'uber column' to create easily some nice columns in my layout.

But there is a problem when I convert my .psd to .pdf file, everything appears like if it's a single image. All the texts all pixellated and it's not clear. The user who has the pdf file can't copy/paste anything.

It's huge problem, how should I set up the convertion to have a standard pdf with clean text please ?

Thanks a lot for your answers

Could you tell us a little more about how you are creating the PDF. Are you using a particular PDF Preset? Are there any settings that you've changed that could be causing the file to be flattened?

Hello Michael,

Thanks for your answer

I juste use the simple option in photoshop  file > automatisation > pdf presentation
I create the document with the standard set up

But in fact, only the pages where I use the plug-in aren't good. Otherwise other page in the document is fine.

Unfortunately I'm unfamiliar with the "Uber Column" plug-in and I have no useful suggestions. Does this plug-in have a user forum or do the makers of this plug-in offer any form of technical support? Good luck.

I appreciate that your questions are specifically about laying out text in Photoshop but as you've already seen, the formatting of text is not one of Photoshops strengths. The laying out of text is good in Illustrator and fantastic in InDesign. These are both programs that come with the Adobe Creative Cloud and can also easily export out PDFs. Any chance you could do what you are doing in one of these non-Photoshop programs?
