Problem processing Raw files with Adobe Photoshop CC 2018

I installed the new Adobe Photoshop CC 2018, and now when I try to process a Raw file, Photoshop opens the file, then immediately locks up my computer. I have to reboot to clear the file. Anyone else have a similar problem? Adobe hasn't been any help so far.

Hi

As suggested by D Fosse, you can disable the Graphic processor in Camera Raw Preferences. The path to do that is

Open Photoshop>Click on Photoshop CC (at top left corner)>Preferences>Camera raw> uncheck use graphics processor.

Restart the photoshop & check.

Although your graphic processor is not supported as it has only 256 MB of V RAM, it might be disabled by default.

Please check the camera make & model if it is supported by camera raw or not in this below link

Ok, I'm a novice at this, but this is what I've been able to figure out so far.

System - Mac

OS Version ElCapitan version 10.11.6

Graphics ATi Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256MB

Processor 2.8 G2 Intel Core 2 DBO

I haven't figured out how to find my camera make and model

Go into Camera Raw Preferences (accessible from Bridge or Photoshop), and uncheck "use graphics processor".
