When I select something and fill it with a color photoshop also mades 'fade area' which I do not want.

What am I doing wrong?

And is it also possible with photoshop to color not the grid squares but the larger grid squares?

Check whether your selection has a feather - if it does set it to 0 in the options bar

Thank you for your response. It has 0 px Feather. What I did was color range > expand

Do I have to do things differently to make the selection a 'hard border?'

Anyway, you could make the existing selection »sharp« by switching to Quick Mask Mode (Q) and applying a Threshold adjustment.

I do not know what you mean. I did Q but what about Threshold. Sorry for not telling but I am working with masks. When pressing Q the selection seem to be gone.

I see it is color range and then the setting fuzziness to 0.

That is so silly to me. I thought fuzziness was about color range but I see I misunderstood it as fuzziness like fuzziness of selection. It seems somehow also logical to me.
