problem upgrading Photoshop

New Here ,
Jun 28, 2025 Jun 28, 2025

Hello,
I have a problem when I want to update Photoshop.

My computer:
Apple M1
8 Go Ram
Sequoia 15,5

I currently have version 26.5 of Photoshop. When I ask to upgrade to the latest version (26.8). Creative Cloud tells me that my software is up to date.
If I try to update manually, the operation stops after a few seconds with the message that there isn't enough space on my disk (although there are 707 Go available).
I don't know if this could be the cause, but recently I transferred Photoshop from my main disk to a secondary disk.

Can you help?

E_k, please expand on "secondary disk" -- a portable hard drive? And how did you transfer?

707 GB -- on which disk? What is the space remaining on the other disk?

Other questions -- how are you "ask[ing] to upgrade"? Through Creative Cloud?
"try[ing] to update manually" -- what? how?

Unusual for Ps to claim your machine is current -- additionally, v26.8.1 was release a few days ago.

That immediately sounds like a bad idea. But you need to explain exactly how this is set up.
