Problem with Actions in Batch Processing

I have an action, which is working fine, when I open an image and play the action. However, if i want to play the action in a batch processing, i get an error: Error: The command "Select" is not currently available. (-25920)

 

More info:

* When I open a psd-file, play the action manually: IT WORKS

* When I open multiple psd-files, set up batch processing (source folder is the one i also opened the psd-files) and start it, the action only plays on the PSD file of the current window. But after that I get the error message

* When I don't open anything and set up batch processing, I get the error message

 

 

Weird thing is that it does work manually. Only in batch mode not.

 

Any ideas?

Are you able to capture a screen capture of the Actions steps to share? This would help people see what might be the cause.

It would be helpful to show the action with expanded steps. For example, does the action actually contain an open and save step to override?
