Problem with Adobe

Explorer ,
Apr 03, 2024 Apr 03, 2024

I  have a problem with Adobe:

  1. In 2012 I purchased CS6 production package (that included many programs, e.g. Photoshop, Premier, etc) from an Adobe agent called Softense.
  2. I happily used it until several months ago.
  3. Then CS6 started to warn me that my license is illegal and is going to expire in 10 days, 9 days, etc.
  4. At that time, I didn't find the buying receipt, and Softense didn't reply to my emails.
  5. I complained to Adobe, but Adobe didn't accept my claims.
  6. I purchased the photography (only) plan.
  7. In the meantime:
  • I found the CS6 purchase receipt; it is attached here.
  • I still can use ALL the CS6 programs (including premier, for example) without getting any warnings anymore !!!

I applied again to Adobe, and they opened Case ADB-33826377-W6F4 but they are refusing to handle this complaint.

We have heard that Adobe wiill no longer activate CS6.  If you check with Google, you'll find hit after hit with people understandably upset about this.

Thanks. I haven't heard that "Adobe wiill no longer activate CS6".

This is not a decent behaviour. Is it legal? They should compensate us somehow.

I think anyone editing photos consider ~ $10 USD a good value. Most users also have purchased stand alone Adobe apps in the past and have moved on to the latest features.

@David Averbuch Adobe have stopped resetting activation counts, CS5 and CS6 can still be activated, but if you have gone over the activation count you're out of luck.
