Hi everyone. So out of nowhere I'm having problems with my eraser tool in photoshop. Whenever I try to use the eraser it doesn't erase in a smooth streamless fashion like you'd expect, and how it normally works. Instead it erases but it erases in consistent bursts of circle shapes. I've never seen this before and I even tried resetting the eraser settings, but it didn't work. I'll attach a picture so you can see what I'm talking about. Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there a fix for it? Thanks!

Look at the flow setting in the options bar and the brush spacing setting in Brushes - Brush tip shape

Please post a meaningful screenshot that includes the pertinent Panels (Options, Brush Settings, …).

What are the Brush’s Hardness, Spacing etc.?

Dave! Thank you SO much! You actually helped me! I have no idea how that setting changed on me for no reason but your solution did the trick. I'm forever grateful! 🙂

It hasn't worked for me - I still have a jaggered edge. Have looked online at other people having the same problem and also tried their fix.
