Problem with smooth transition in photoshop

Hello,

I have graphics card Nvidia Quatro P400. When I use brush, display can´t show me smooth  transition. I donť know what can I do? All drivers are actual. Photoshop and system is actual.

Is the file 8 bit or 16 bit depth? If it's 16 bit, the banding is in your display system, not the data. A standard display pipeline is 8 bits per channel, giving you 256 discrete steps per channel. This is what it looks like.

 

The Quadro is capable of 10 bits/ch output, but that also requires a 10 bit capable display. You need to use DisplayPort, and 10 bit needs to be enabled in the NVidia driver.

The efect is the same for both dept. I´m using display EIZO CS2420 (is conected by display port) and 10bits output. NVidia driver is enable for 10 bit.
