Problem with spot healing brush

Hi all,

I have a weird problem with the spot healing brush. Normally if I draw a line with it it samples surrounding pixels and does a great job. I am restoring old family photos which haves some creases in them. If i use the spot healing brush to remove those creases it leaves me with a blurred line.

What am I doing wrong/

Regards,

Steve

What do you have selected in the Options bar?  Create Texture is the most likely to produce a blured line, but a lot depends on image resolution and brush size.  The larger the brush, the more likely you are to produce a blurred result.
