Problems in 25.5.1 - Several Critical Issues

I confirm 25.5.1 is not usable on my configuration. Lag when zooming is not acceptable. All actions take long. Came back to 25.5

So, Photoshop is still not closing when I try to close it.  You have to go into the Task Manager and kill the app manually.  Also, I noticed that the sticky mouse selection issue is still present but I've been dealing with that so long that I'm not put off by it.  Would be nice if it weren't there.  On the bright side, I haven't noticed the GPU issue since I unchecked Disable Native Canvas. I will keep coming back here and posting updates.

Just briefly for anyone else wondering, I forgot to mention that I did also DDU my display driver. 

As of today, I am cautiously optimistic because the first thing I tried was to uncheck Disable Native Canvas and it appears to be working much better.  In the past, checking that seemed to solve an issue.  Perhaps that was resolved and now it's an issue if it's enabled.  

Nonetheless, after unchecking it and restarting the app, it was no longer laggy.  I haven't used it much.  Haven't been at my desk much, but  I will add more reports here this week!

It's very difficult to say which setting(s) or combination of settings in the preferences are responsible for the problems.

I think the best way (although the most complex way) is to try to change one setting after the other and the check again.

In a first step I wold try to deactivate the 30bit Display setting.

Another try is also to do a clean reinstallation of the NVidia device driver. Also make sure that you have installed the Studio version of the current driver and not the Game Ready version!!

Thanks for taking the time for this, AxelMatt.  When I reset (move) my preferences folder and Photoshop creates new prefs, I do not experience GPU issues.  When I reenable (move back) my preferences, the issues return.  Must be something in my preferences that the newest versions of Photoshop do not like.

I took screenshots of every preference setting and showed the comparison between the reset/default selections on the left and the selections I have been using (for a long time) on the right.  I also have the System Info you asked for below.

I am leaving out any preference panels here where the settings were identical.

Also, I grabbed the System Info from Photoshop once with the preferences reset on the left and once with my settings on the right, and these are basically the only differences...

Lastly, here is the System Info dump (with my preferences enabled).  Very grateful for your assistance!  Please let me know what you think might be causing Photoshop to feel buggy and GPU-less all of the sudden.
