Problems with Select and Mask

When I click on "select and mask" the menu to the right with layers and the sliders doesn't come up any more.  I can't figure out what happened.  How do I get it back?

    I assume you mean this panel

    You may have hidden the panel, try hitting Shift + Tab or check this option

    If it's non of the above try resetting your Photoshop preferences
