process order change

New Here ,

Gang/Crew.

My big question is this:   I have, say, 15 pages to process thru photoshop, #s 1 to 15

I bring them up in photoshop, and I must start with #15 and go backward to #1.

How can I bring pages up in photoshop in order #1 to #15 and start with #1 then go to #15?

Is there a place I am missing, somewhere I have missed?

I have gone over ALL the places to no avail so far.

Help me

Please!

Thanks in advance!

Please explain what you are actually doing. Converting a pdf, …?

What is the pages’ content? If texts and vector elements then you may want to rethink editing them with Photoshop.

A full explanation, is I scan text, mag articles, photos they are saved .tiff

Using my VueScan I set it up that they are labeled and numbered.

Example: Trains_1996-12_p01 and so on up.

So with 10 pages, they are as Trains_1996-12-p01 to p10.

I draw them up into PhotoShop, when I was with CS2 9.0.2 they would come up as the first one. Trains_1996-12_p01,

Now with the currant PhotoShop the first one is Trains_1996-12_p10

So I have to go backwards.

My question is/was how to change the sequence from p10 1st to p01 1st.

After processing them, they are saved with the same label, in .tiff

Do you have access to InDesign, if so, which version?

You don't really have pages in Photoshop, rather you have a series of opened (tabbed) images, if you open more than one image.

Derek,

I am presently using only PhotoShop, current version.

See my reply to previous.

With multiple images open, click the double chevrons or arrows.  You'll see a drop-list of files to choose from.

Nancy,

Blessing to you

1000 Mercis!!

I knew there was a way, that I was not able to see.

It has been a REAL BIG jump for me to move from CS2 9.0.2 to current version of Photoshop.

Again many thanks

Alan

Nancy,

Turns out to be only a partial solution, seems that one has to do that chevron EVERY time.

I was looking for a way to change the sequence auto & final.

1000 mercis, remain

Alan

What is your final output? For example, if it's to be printed you'll need 16 pages (unless you don't mind a blank page in your document). If it's for the web you'll need to change the format to JPG or PNG.

I don't know if this helps you.  I mainly work with Tabs but you can Tile images vertically or horizontally.   Go to Window > Arrange (see screenshot).
