Frustrated by Program Errors in Photoshop? We can help!

First, try the troubleshooting suggestions listed in the Program Errors when opening or saving files

Next, if after following the steps above and you're still encountering Program Errors:

1. Follow the instructions to install the Program Error Diagnostic Plugin
2. Open Photoshop and enable the Photoshop User Diagnostics option provided in the Plugins menu
3. Reproduce the Program Error, then click OK to dismiss the Program Error dialog (This then copies the detailed error text to your clipboard)
4. Click the blue Reply button on this post and paste the Program Error clipboard contents into this community thread

Doing this will assist our Engineering team's investigations so these Program Errors can be resolved.

Same issues. The problem is I cant try most of your methods since the error keeps on poping up even if i click the preference button. or any other button. I ran the Diagnostics but nothing there to paste. Please help me.

Revert to Photoshop 21.2.8

This isn't working!  There is nothing in my clipboard to post here.  I get the error when I open the print window, then hit print settings.  If I don't do that immediately after opening a template or file, I get the error. It is very annoying!

I can't get the fix to work either. I get the program error only when I'm working off our network. If I copy the file to my desktop, the error does not occur. I've tried the previous PS version and the diagnostic plugin did not work. It isn't plausible for me to copy thousands of files to my desktop to change metadata.

I installed the  Program Error Diagnostic Plugin

Nothing copies or pastes because as soon as I hit "Simulate error" I get the same "Could not complete your request because of a program error." I can't even quit photoshop because the error just pops up again and again. I'm so frustrated with things not working smoothly.

Recent changes to my Windows 10 system: installed new Cintiq and updated its drivers. Updated my NVIDIA drivers. Updated my Intel drivers.

I honestly have had enough of this program error. I have done everything you suggested, and still get the error with about 20-50% of my files. I have used your Diagnostic Plugin, which doesn't work and does not copy anything to my clipboard. I have wasted countless hours of my time trying to solve and fix it, constantly slowing down my productivity, and also tired of seeing 'temp' files from this error clogging up my storage space. It seems this problem has been around for a long time and still no solution. Can we get a fix????????

6 months in and your Engineering team have not fixed this error. Call me crazy but instead of working on new features we could focus on this error first. This is a major issue. 

I have wiped my mac, reinstalled my OS, reinstalled all the Creative Cloud apps, and the problem is still there.

One thing I did notice is that when I get the program error, I can save the PSD file to my desktop. So I would be interested to see if anyone else gets these errors on external drives or NAS only.

I completely reset my computer and reinstalled the OS and now it's working
for me. For this reinstall, I cleaned out my brushes palette too because it
seemed to be triggered when I using a brush that is now incompatible. But
we've all come to the same program error from a thousand different
triggers. I wish they'd troubleshoot to figure it out. Over the chat, the
customer service person tossed my prefs folder, which worked for a sec, but
didn't work after I restarted my computer.

I rolled back to PS 20.0.0 and it still does it when I try to change or save as off my work network server. The first agent I talked to remote in and sort of found a workaround, but it doesn't work on all files. The second rep said they don't offer support for networks. How the heck am I supposed to do my job? I'm the assets manager! Does anybody have any idea of a fix? The diagnostic plug-in thing doesn't work, neither did the most recent update to 24.4.2.
