Programm error while opening file, task cannot be completed

The below error message appears whenever I try to open a jpg or png file, which I already edited roughly 1 month ago with AP. Either I open the file from the WIndows Explorer folder or I open AP first and choose the file from there.

I've been getting the "could not complete you request because of a program error ever since I downloaded the AI beta.

The next day, I started getting the error. I've gone through the full process on the "this will fix it" option on that error message and *NOTHING* works.

I have to go therough the uninstall/reinstall route several times a day.

I've just spent a lot of money on my subscription for the next year and all I have to show for it in higher blood pressure.

I can't roll back to a previous version, because they're gone. My system is perfect for photoshop, it was working faultlessly untill the AI beta came along.

Please, get your act together and do something to fix this.
