I have an issue that has only started since the last 2 updates (to the current version).
When selecting "Open image in Photoshop" is used from lightroom the progress bar is left on the screen in photoshop even though the image has been transfered. Although you can just click withinn photoshop to move it to the back it is still a pain that never happened before.
Anyone else having this or worked out a solution ?

Having the same problem and it's driving me up the wall. Modal Progress bar window won't close, even when the "Cancel" button is clicked. Closing PS fixes the problem, but it comes back without fail next time an image is opened via LR for editing.
I'm up to date on both LR and PS. Machine is a late 2015 27" iMac, running Catalina 10.15.6

Same issue here with everything up to date (Mac). As noted, I can click on the Photoshop window and the stuck Progress bar goes to the back. But it is still there and randomly comes to the front, depending on what I am doing.

Ah...haven't done anything different or upgrade...but the problem has disappeared! There is no progress bar.
Edit...realised that I updated Lightroom Classic to v 9.4.

Updated to 21.2.3 this morning. Have been working most of the day in PS, with images sent from LR, and no sign of the stuck progress bar. Hopefully now fixed!

Same here. The progress bar never fills completely and the pop-up window cannot be removed by clicking cancel. It is unresponsive. You can move it around though, and when I click near the top, it disappears behind my workspace. It's still there though.

Same here with progress bar issue and is also very slow sometimes when opening from Lightroom to Photoshop. Up to 18 seconds opening time on 40 mb raw files , yet my desktop Mac is only a year old.

I please to say that the new update to Photoshop 2021 which was released a few days ago has cleared this issue up, have been working solid transporting images from lightroom to photoshop for 3 days and not once has this happened.
