Properties Panel says No Properties with 3D object

As of about 3 hours ago I started having this problem.

With a 2D smart object (that I had no problem working with at all yesterday) I use 3D extrusion to create a 3D object and change one of the bevel settings and then suddenly the properties panel reads No Properties so I can't change any other settings on that object. When I undo and extrude again the properties panel shows all the settings again but the moment I change a single one of them they all disappear again.

I updated photoshop since I thought that might be a cause of this happening suddenly and still have the same problem.

I've had this problem in the past with live shapes but there was another way to make the changes to those. With 3D objects I can't see any other options.

So unless anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this problem I'm at a loss.

I've seen that bug before and raised it with Adobe.

In the meantime, if it happens, temporarily click on the Default Camera in the 3D panel. Then back on the 3D object in the 3D panel. The properties panel should restore.

This may be a graphics card issue if it persists. Go to Edit>Preferences>Performance be sure that "Use Graphics Processor" is checked. If there's an error your graphics card drivers may need to be updated or your graphics card may not meet the minumim requirements to some 3D options. In my case, I have duel graphics cards and I needed to change my graphics card setting to force my better graphics card to operate while I used Photoshop.
