I have recently started to work with the PS HDR function on my new laptop with Win11 whose display is HDR compatible (activated), but when i went to the PS  pref/tech-prev there was no option for "precise color management for hdr display".

Hey, @randyf69474508. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll clarify this for you.

Please check the HDR Workflow requirements to get started with: https://adobe.ly/3MfF85W

In the list of the available Technology previews in Photoshop mentioned feature isn't listed: https://adobe.ly/3s79oJi

Let me know if this helps. Thanks!

Photoshop HDR is not the same thing as HDR display. The latter is supported by Windows, but not Photoshop.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
