PS app will nt run on Win10 PC

PS v25.9.1 installed on my PC will not start. Message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application." Previous versions have not been a problem. v25.9.1 installed on 06/16/2024 and not used until today. System is Windows 10, 24 gb ram, 15 TB disk, Nvidea 2060 Super video adapter.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I suspected my CPU version, now 15 years old. I had the same problem with this on another application there described as AVX issue. The SSE term is noew to me. Will revert to 25.7 for now, upgrade soon.
