PS fails to recognise xmp file data when opening raw files.

I have raw files with xmp sidecar files. If I open these within Bridge by double clicking the xmp data is recognised. 

If I double click the raw file directly from a folder photoshop launches, opens camera raw but does not load the info stored in the xmp file.

latest version of PS 24.2 , Mac OS Ventura, Bridge 2023, Latest version of Camera Raw.

Hi @Simon Camper sorry you are seeing this.

Did you see this issue in an older version of Ps or just in this latest version? Have you tried rolling back a version to see if that solves this?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
