Question

PS has started adding color labels AUTOMATICALLY when saving edited images back into LR

Hello,

Something new and perplexing; at least to me.

Now, when I take images from LR and select "Edit In PS", when I am finished editing in PS and I save the new PS edited image, when I close the image in PS and return to LR, the image is there with its edits BUT a color label has been added to the image that I did not add myself and do NOT want on the image.

Can someone explain why and more importantly, how to stop this unwanted adjustment.

Thanks,

Mel

I should add that I am using the latest versions of LR CC and PS CC as part of the photographic suite.

Also, when editing, I am selecting "Edit copy with LR adjustments"

This nusance seems to have just started in the last few days. I may have previously had color labels with some of these images but they were ALL deleted many months ago. No idea what has changed to get this free and unwanted adjustment. It is easy enough to delete the color label but with thousands of images, I do not want this to be the "new norm"

    Please help; thanks again

Lightroom and Bridge have a function for adding color labels. Photoshop does not, so that's not where they come from. I'd look in Lightroom, import presets and so on.

I use color labels in Lightroom myself, and if the raw file is labeled it will carry over to the edited RGB version. But I've never seen labels added by themselves.
