You can go back to a previous version in the Creative Cloud app if you need to. Before you do, be sure to fill out the crash reports and include your Adobe ID email address so the Adobe engineers can see why it's crashing. You might also try resetting preferences manually so that you can put the preferences file back if it doesn't help.

When Photoshop crashes, this is the first thing to do, try resetting your Photoshop preferences. Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings. You can also reset preferences upon a quit if Photoshop is running by going into General Preferences>General>Reset on Quit.
If that doesn't fix the issue:
Go to Preferences > Performance... and uncheck Multithreaded Compositing - and restart Photoshop.
Still crashing?
Go to Preferences > Performance... click Advanced Settings... and uncheck "GPU Compositing" - then restart Photoshop. Still crashing?
Do you want to go back to previous versions?
In Adobe Creative Cloud, select the product you wish to roll back, click on the three dots and select "Other Versions".

If you reset preferences as recommended by Digital Dog instead of the manual method I suggested earlier, be sure to back up all customization first, as his method won't let you restore your preferences.
According to the "Topics" tag, the OP is on macOS.
