Here is my issue whenever i use PS

1. whenever i switch tools. My computer lag severely

2. I have to close photoshop in order to use After effects as it is not responding when i open it

3. Whenever i edit, sometimes i might fully lose ability to hover and i cant do anything to the project, i have to exit and enter the project again

4. Whenever i edit, sometimes when i zoom in, the thing glitch and i cannot zoom at all. It glitches like zooming in and out several times whenever i zoom in. And I have to exit and enter the project again

5. I cannot create photoshop document. I have to keep resetting preference whenever i have the issue, which deletes my settings and i have to redo again...

This has been happening for a year and now I really want to fix this issue!!

On latest version of PS, i just updates a week ago

Sorry for the late reply. I had a HDR problem and i disabled native canvas and it worked! Other issues is still occuring like I can't open after effects while i'm using photoshop

The flickering is fixed (After disable native canvas) (I forgot i reset preference and the disable native canvas is removed). But other issue still occur

@Sciencio5EC6, you are using two monitors? It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

I still can't be able to create a new photoshop file. When i open a file. I tried zooming in and my other window from my 2nd screen is flickering and the zooming in and out is very laggy. Sometimes I have photoshop open, it causes extrene lag while i use other windows like playing game and i have to close it

Ok @Sciencio5EC6, let's try this.

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

If it does solve the problem, I would like to get the folder of settings to try and figure out what is bad with them.

Hi @Sciencio5EC6, sorry to hear this. Let's try this and see if it solves your issue.

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?
