Not correct answer sorry.
I thought it worked but it only is saving for files already on creative cloud. Not for any new items.
I import from lightroom to PS, then add one layer of text and one object, then click save as and it should come up with the creative cloud(cc) save but it only gives me local hardware option. After saving to CC i then export using shortcut, as a PNG to my local storage where i have a backup system in place.
The default save option now for this process is just a normal local save box with .tiff as defaulty (yes i can change the file type.)
For restoring preferences
I moved first just the 2023 folder, then both 2022 and 2023 folders. quitting and resetting PS between each and still no fix.
I'm going to uninstall and reinstall PS to see if this sorts it out.
