pt to px

Before updating to Photoshop CC 2019, I was able to change from points to pixels by just typing px when I put in the type size. That doesn't appear to work anymore. Is there another way to do it, other than going to Preferences and changing the unit of measurement to pixels? We switch back and forth between the two quite a bit. (Searched forum, but didn't see this in regard to 2019. The closest was someone who said that px and pt are the same, but type set at 18 pt is not at all the same as type set at 18 px.)
