Question about Creative Cloud, Photoshop, InDesign and log-ins

Hello,
I recently got the OK to work from home designing newspaper pages using InDesign through my company's VPN on my personal computer. I run InDesign through my company's Creative Cloud account on that VPN; it's their copy.
I also have a personally purchased copy of Photoshop on this, my personal computer. The company doesn't offer Photoshop on my VPN link, only InDesign. I use Photoshop to crop and tone photos for the web and print.
I run into problems running my copy of Photoshop when I am in the VPN and logged in to my office's Creative Cloud account with InDesign running. Photoshop tries to open, but it gets stuck and I can't do anything with it.

Is there a way around this issue? Thanks
