Quick zoom / toggle zoom shortcut

Hi,

I'm trying to configure my Cintiq in order to start using its buttons and stop killing my back by having a hand on the keyboard all the time.

One of the things I'd like to do is to have a button to use the zoom tool while I press it, but that would switch back to my original selected tool once it's unpressed, such as the spacebar for the hand, alt for the color picker or ctrl for the move tool. I tried to configure it, but those actually don't appear in the shortcut editor: zoom is Z, move tool is V, etc. but I couldn't find the "quick" or "toggle" shortcuts.

Is there any way to access those, and/or to create any new ones?

Thanks!

Camille

Hey, I actually found the shortcuts myself: Ctrl + Space and Alt + Space for zooming out. Cheers

Hi Muqqarib, thanks for your answer.

I am looking for a way to activate a tool while I press a button and only while this button is being pressed. In that case, I would like to do that with the zoom tool, just like the space bar activates the hand tool or ctrl activates the move tool while pressed, and only while pressed. The thing you highlighted is used to switch between standard and quick mask modes.

Cheers
