"Could not complete your request because of a program error" in CC2021 version 22.0.0

Well, after the last updates to CC2021 (or 2022 now) I have the problem of opening an image from Camera Raw to Pshop.  I get the message in the title above.

I also can't find "Setting" in Bridge when I right click on a thumbnail.  What gives with that?  Bridge version is 10.1.1.166.

OS is Windows 10 pro.  Computer is Dell XPS 8700 with an i7 processor and 24gb of RAM.

I've noticed Capture One can be had for $20/month.  Twice what CC costs, but if this keeps happening, I may just switch.  Screw it.

Hi! update to Photoshop 22.1.1 as it fixes the "program error" issue: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html

If the update does not appear in the CC app, go to help>check for updates.

I should add that when this message (Could not complete your request.....) shows up I can't close Pshop without going into the task manager.

And....another input.  I sometimes (but not always) get this message when Photoshop is opening, even though it has always worked.  This started right after the previous update, not the one to version 22.0.0.  Bruce BUntitled-1.jpg

I noticed the suggestion to reload the last version and have done so.  Thanks for that consideration.  I'll mark this as the answer just to eliminate this post from your feed.  It seems you have enough on your hands as it is.

Thanks.
