Radial texture

Hello,I need to create high quality radial texture for watch, but don't know how.

Attached image, what I got and what i need.

How many rays?

This is for a not so big number of rays - because each ray gets a layer of its own.

Looking at that watch face I would do it like this.

A 50% grey layer with Filter - Add Noise then Filter Radial Blur - then Filter Unsharp Mask

The shape layer below is just to give the circle

The Curves and Hue/Sat are just to adjust the contrast then colorize
