rasterizing images without all required fonts

New Here ,

Hi there,

So I have a collection of images that come up with a small X icon surrounded by a square.  I am assuming this is because of a font not being available when the image is being rasterized?  Is there a way to bypass this if this is the case?  It only seems to come up on 40% of the pictures, and its not very noticeable, though it would be great if I could rid of it, thank you!

I am not sure what is the problem but I don't think it is missing fonts. Photoshop can open and rasterize a psd with missing fonts. However you can not edit the text layer with the missing font. And the text layers with missing fonts have a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in the bottom right of the T icon.

When you say that the images come up with a small x, come up where?

It doesn't matter of the font is available generally. This is because Photoshop has created a full res PREVIEW of the font as part of the file.
