Hi,

I am working on a layer for a larger drawing and am having a frustrating time with camera raw and photoshop. The changes made in raw - at least what I can see - are nothing like what comes out in photoshop when i hit 'ok'.

The first image is the original file (left) and the edited file in raw (right)

The second image is what comes out in photoshop after.

At the moment the only way i am able to save this image correctly is by using the snipping tool or printscreen - which means I lose a lot of quality. Anyone know why this is happening and how I change it?

Best

Can you show the three comparisons with each at 100% zoom. Camera raw and Photoshop use different methods to show zoomed out previews. They should be identical at 100% zoom.

Hi David,

Youre a star, thank you. When I zoom in to 100 percent in RAW and make changes at that level, the changes appear much closer.

I am going to have to play around with it to get it to look as I want as a whole as zooming in to 100 percent means I ant see the entire image, but this is definitely the solution!

You're welcome. On many images the difference is not noticable but on some, such as fine lines, stars in the sky etc it can be significant.
