Raw filters no longer usable

Hey all... this has been happening a fair bit and is really getting to me now.

I am using a 2015 iMac with 16gig of ram on updated sierra OS.

The issue is whilst editing in PS CC2017 I flip back and forth from camera raw for various adjustments. The default exposure etc work fine but if i try to use the brush or gradient selection tools they do not work. I continuously get the hand symbol and no circular tool i.e. for the brush tool.

Any help would be really appreciated as the only work around seems to be a save and a machine re-boot.

Cheers Tom

Hi Tomp,

Did you try pressing "Spacebar" when the issue occurs?

Regards,

Sahil

Try unchecking "Use Graphics Processor" Under Photoshop Preferences > Performance and then Relaunch Photoshop.

Please let us know about the outcome.
