I always shoot raw & sometimes I need to go into Ps for adjustments, however when I bring my image back into Lr it comes back as a TIFF. Here in lies the problem. I shoot with a Sony A7II & under the develop modules at the bottom under Profile: Camera Calibration I cannot use the drop down menu for more adjustment if need be, I give up 9 presets, Adobe Standard, Camera Clear, Deep, Landscape, Light, Neutral, Portrait, Camera Standard, & Vivid. It goes to Embedded. Is there a way around this? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
As Photoshop is a pixel editor then the resulting file has to be a TIFF or PSD. However.....
When you are in Lightroom and you choose to edit in Photoshop use Open as Smart Object in Photoshop
That way you can double click to open the Smart object and use ACR to further edit the RAW file within it . ACR has the same RAW adjustment engine as Lightroom.

Dave's response is spot on. As part of my standard workflow, I make the bulk of my adjustments in LR and then, when/if necessary, edit in PS.
