I need to format my hard drive, and re-install a fresh copy of windows. Reason is that I just purchased a Cintqi 27 QHD and this thing will just not install correctly. I'm left with no other option but to wipe the drive, re-install Windows 7 and hope for the best.
Question - do I need to do anything with Photoshop before doing so? (for example, sign out of the cloud, or some other action) - or does it matter at all.
I'm just concerned that when I'm back online again with a new Windows, that re-installing Photoshop won't give me any sort of problems.
Thanks everyone
If you use a perpetual version of Photoshop you need to deactivate you install before you format you disk. Formatting your disk will destroy your hidden Photoshop Activation credentials on that disk. If you have a subscription you man not have to do anything however I think signing out may be a good thing to do. It is also a good idea to backup all your Photoshop ad dons they will need to be reinstall as will all your software.
