1 - I have a complex Photoshop Action that I would like to re-record, replacing one PS filter with a different filter. I tried "Record Again" but I broke the process when the original filter option popped up. I don't know how to remove that filter, and run another filter instead.
2 - When completed, I would like to Pause (or stop) the action when the Filter appears so I can evaluate the image & input the appropriate filter amount. I see that I can toggle the button for that filter in the actions menu to add a stop. Or I can Insert a Stop. Is there an advantage to either option?
(I have created actions previously, but have never re-recorded, or added stops)
Thanks

Just double-click any step in the action to edit it. You don't need to run the full action to do that; just have an image open so the command can execute.
Then it's permanently changed in the action (but do remember to save your actions out for easy reloading in a new version or if you need to reset preferences).
Check the "dialog" box if you want the action to pause and let you adjust the parameters when running. The action resumes when you OK.
