That's good. Thanks once more. Now if Adobe will just restore the the "merged" snapshot option in Photoshop.

    Hi @Nokemov,

Thanks for sharing your feedback! While the dedicated “merged snapshot” option you mentioned is no longer in the same place, you can still achieve very similar results using the History panel in Photoshop. Here’s how:
     • Open the History panel (Window > History).
     • From the panel menu, choose New Snapshot.
     • This creates a snapshot that includes all visible layers at that point in time.

True, but what I want is a merged history snapshot not a layered one, as it used to be. Now I either use an older version of Photoshop or make a copy of the current doc, flatten it, and then bring it back in to the layered file. I do this for certain special effects using the history brushes. But I already have a thread on this elsewhere.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
