Record Action via Script

Hello maybe you can help me,

I am looking for a way to start the recording via script for an action, or as an action itself that can start a recording for a certain action.

 

if someone has an idea I would be very happy 🙂

What is the point of the exercise? 

Why do you want to record an Action thusly?

Hello c.pfaffenbichler,

 

I actually wanted to build a small UI to make it easier for me to use a temp action.

One button should delete a defined action, one button should record the action and one button should play it.

This would allow me to temporarily record and play back certain sequences more quickly. The only thing missing would be the ability to start a recording via script.

But if that doesn't work then I just continue to use the actions window.

    This can't be done via script that I know of.
