Recover deleted iCloud files

I need my deleted pictures 

@default3kr1nzn0ljqf IF the cloud storage system you're using also maintains a folder on the PC (like Dropbox does) you may be able to go back in time to an earlier Windows restore point?

If you have File History enabled, you may be able to restore previous versions of your files. Right-click on the folder where the files were deleted, choose  "Restore previous versions" and see if you can recover the files from there.

thought everything was in the cloud not on my hard drive. I am devestated I had so much in there

It sounds like these files were stored in the folder named Creative Cloud Files? If so, that is an Adobe folder. Or are you definitely using Apple iCloud Drive for Windows? (this is not common) If you are using the Apple iCloud service, follow Kevin’s advice.

If this is about the Creative Cloud Files folder, the issue is that Creative Cloud Files, like OneDrive or Dropbox or Google Drive, is a synced files service, which most of those services are by default. Synced means exactly what it says: You do something on one side, it happens everywhere. Delete a file in there using your desktop, or phone, or on the web, and it is deleted from the cloud and all devices synced to it. Because the deletion was synchronized, as designed.

Syncing is different from a true backup, which is a second copy that is not deleted when the original is deleted. Some of those services can be set up that way, but I do not think Creative Cloud Files supports that.

If you are talking about the Creative Cloud Files folder, and you have been regularly backing up your Windows PC, I believe (but am not sure) that the local versions of those files would be in recent backups you have, and that would be your best chance of restoring those files: Restore them from your backups.

But even if you restore the files, if this is about the synced Creative Cloud Files folder, the fact is you would need to move them to another location soon anyway. Because Adobe has announced that they are discontinuing Creative Cloud synced files. For details and the date this service will stop (currently scheduled for February 1, 2024), refer to this link:

iCloud is an Apple service not an Adobe service. You'll need to contact the company you were working with for a solution.

Did you check the web interface https://www.icloud.com/ to see if they are still in the cloud? Check the recycle bin there.
