Recovering Lost Photoshop files

Hi All,

I have had issues with Photoshop / creative cloud not syncing for some time now when I save to could. however the files were saving locally when I chose to save to cloud and I can open them and edit etc.

Recently, When I open photoshop, all my files are missing!

I can see the files are still stored locally on my hard drive here:

Macintosh HD - Users - robcrouch - library - application support - adobe - coresync - cloudnative - DCX - 69fad55171c7407595e62fb6dc9d6ea0 - 1 - va - blob

Within that folder I see 53gb worth of the files that are missing but obviously I am unable to make sense of them. Can anyone help as to why photoshp is no longer showing them in my files and how I can access them?

Many thanks

@rob5FD6

Typically Mac users store files in folders inside of Documents. Are you saying you've been saving them with the system files in a library? Maybe I'm not understanding?

No I think you have misunderstood.  I am saving them "to the cloud" although the sync isnt working. but the files are stored locally and that is the location adobe chooses to store them locally.

"I am saving to the cloud"

"The files are stored locally"

So which one is it? Or both?
